What does it mean if somebody shouts "you've got a wedgie?"; today I was walking along wearing jogging shorts - give somebody wedgie on poptropica

When a group of girls said something about my leg and screamed: "You have a wedgie ".... not five minutes later, a group of boys shouted: "Legs Eleven" for me
Was it because a) was born in a suburb of Birmingham, where people are late rednecks who say otherwise or do not understand, b) were born in the 90s and not know what a real pair of shorts, but I think it's one of those couples Kevvy width up to the knees, or c) they were still free to reach?
